Our Father
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread
And forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those whom trespass against us.
And lead us not in to temptation, but deliver us from evil.

The Apostle's Creed
I believe in God, the Father Almighty,
the Creator of heaven and earth,
and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord:
Who was conceived of the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried.

He descended into hell.
On the third day He arose again from the dead.
He ascended into heaven
and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty,
whence He shall come to judge the living and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and life everlasting.

Nicene Creed
We believe in one God,
the Father, the Almighty,

Liturgy of the Hours
Sometimes referred to as the Divine Office, this is the prayer of the Church. It is a 7 part prayer, each part is called an "Hour." While it is most commonly prayed by priests and religious, it is supposed to be the prayer of the church, and all Christians are invited to share in this prayer which usually consists of a series of Psalms and biblical readings. Prayer of Abandonment
Father,
I abandon myself in to your hands;
Do with me what you will.
Whatever you may do, I thank you;
I am ready for all, I accept all.
Let only your will be done in me
And in all your creatures -
I wish no more than this, O Lord
In to your hands I commend my soul;
I offer it to you with all the love of my heart
For I love you, Lord,
And so need to give myself,
To surrender myself in to your hands,
Without reserve, and with boundless confidence
For you are my father.

Come Holy Spirit
Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of Thy faithful and kindle in them the fire of Thy love.

O Lord God Almighty
O Lord God Almighty, King of kings, Lord of rulers, in whose hand all victory rests and all war is destroyed, grant me that Thy hand may strengthen my heart so I may fight well and act courageously so my enemies may fall before my sight. May they fall as did Goliath fall before Thy servant David, as did the people of the Pharaoh in the Red Sea before Moses, as did the Philistines before the people of Israel, as did Amalech before Moses, and as did the Canaanites before Joshua, so may my enemies fall beneath my feet. May all who come against me be dispersed and God destroy their weapons and shatter their swords. They will melt in my sight as wax in the face of fire so all the peoples of the earth will know that the name of our Lord Jesus Christ has been invoked over me. May Thy Name, O Lord, be made great over my adversaries, O Lord, God of Israel.
