I often hear people say that they do not know how to pray, or that they aren't good at praying. For some reason, they think that I will be able to help them (why I don't know). To both of these statements, I respond with John Paul II's quote "It does not matter how you pray, so long as you pray." This page is a resource of different styles that some people have found effective in their spiritual journey. Not all styles may work for you, and that is okay. Also do not feel that you must follow these methods to the letter. You may change and alter any of these prayer styles in any way. Often some of these styles can be combined with each other.
